Prayer is more like the ingredients of a recipe being prepared than it is a microwave meal.

It is not a compartment of life it is more of an orchestration of many pieces, places, players and parts in our life coming together over a period of times…pre-meditated.

Architecturally begin to draft your prayer.

Sculpturing from the scriptures (Nehemiah, Mary’s Magnicat, Zechariah’s Song), the word gifts and voice of the Holy Spirit, the gleaning and desires of your heart.

Meditate on them and get a more complete revelation and insight.

Prayer makes me wait (4 months of prayer). Waiting is not passive, it is the activity of the soul passing its desires through the Spirit of God. It helps me shape my desire. We wait upon the Lord.

Some prayers require further listening. At times we modify or strike through a petition and replace it with something better. We gain a more precise understanding of the will of God and the mind of Christ.  -Leanne Payne
