Christ’s discipleship was the result of an accessible life…
Who has made their life accessible to you?
Christianity is as exclusive as its Christ and as inclusive as his death.
You are not here by accident, you were made by the Creator of all of life, while you are here take time to find Him…in fact he was here once just like you are.
Afflictions are but as a dark entry into our Father’s house. –Puritan Thomas Brooks
Learning to be attentive when confronted with the minutiae of everyday life so that we may grow in the virtues that God exhibited through his self-emptying is the way to transcend arguing about who God is by instead becoming who God is. – Andrew P. Klager
“Who am I to judge?” -Pope Francis
For many in our times that only means, who am I to judge others?
However, it must also mean, who am I to judge God?

We want a relationship of steel but we traffic in plastic – iron sharpens iron! -Bishop TD Jakes
The ordinary is filled with a God who chooses to visit. It is far too easy to miss the world as it really is. – Jill Carattini
When I consider how demanding the gospel is, I can’t believe how many of you got dressed this morning and came down to hear about it. Bishop William Willimon
A Poetic Prayer prayed during Holy Communion in the night watches…
Standing in pools of blood and walls of flesh

Wandering among friends and wondering all alone
Seated at the Table and kneeling before a Throne
Trafficking in the horizontal and arrested in the vertical
Calling out his name and hearing yours in the refrain.
Any justice that is only justice soon degenerates into something less than justice. Justice must be saved by something deeper than justice. -Reinhold Niebuhr (He is talking about love.) “Justice is what love looks like in public. They are not identical they are inseparable.” -Dr. King
I’m unraveling on the fringe of being a sacred pioneer. How long ago and how far away does a quantum prayer echo before I hear my name.
Are you sure that where you are isn’t a cocoon for where you’re going? -Bishop TD Jakes
